How do we get your data?

The personal data we process comes from the users themselves and we collect it in the following forms present on our website

  • Job application form.
  • Service recruitment form.

Legitimation for the processing of your data

The legal basis for the processing of the data of the people who wish to contact us is the consent granted by accepting this privacy policy. The legal basis for the processing of the data of people applying for a job is the consent granted when submitting the form together with the curriculum. The legal basis for the collection of contact details for the contracting of a service is the legitimate interest for a commercial relationship.


Category of data we process and purpose of processing

The personal data we collect on the forms are:

  • Identification data: Name, surname, email, telephone in order to respond to requests for contact with Consulmar and requests to contract our services.

The personal data we collect in job applications are:

  • Curriculum data that is attached by a file without requesting identifying data on the website in order to start the selection process to the requested position.

What are your rights after providing us with your data?

Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Limitation, Treatment and Portability. 
Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning them. If you have data registered in Consulmar you have the right to:

  • Request Access to your personal data.
  • Request the Rectification or Deletion of your data.
  • Request the Cancellation of your data.
  • Request the Limitation of the Processing of Your Data.
  • Oppose the Processing of your data.
  • Request the Portability of your data.

You will be able to access your personal data, as well as request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes that were collected. In certain circumstances, you can request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.

In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of your data by Consulmar. At that time we will stop processing your data, except for overriding legitimate reasons, such as exercising or defending possible claims. As a data subject, you have the right to receive the personal data that concerns you, and you have previously provided us, in a structured, commonly used and mechanically readable format and to transmit it to another controller when:

  • The processing is based on your consent.
  • The data has been provided by you previously.
  • The processing of data is carried out by automated means.

By exercising your right to data portability, you have the right to have personal data transmitted directly from controller to controller where technically possible. You will also have the right to effective judicial protection and to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, in this case, the Spanish Data Protection Agency, if you consider that the processing that is being given to your personal data violates the Regulations. 

To exercise these rights we have enabled a specific form in the privacy area of our website. You can also request it in our specific e-mail for this purpose rgpd@consulmar.es indicating in the matter the type of treatment you want to perform.

How long will we keep your data?

For the maximum time provided by law unless you ask us otherwise. We will keep the data for as long as the legal deadlines established for its storage do not expire, if there is a legal obligation to maintain, or if there is no such legal period, until the interested party requests its deletion or revokes the consent granted. I mean:

  • As long as our business relationship is maintained.
  • Until you request its suppression.
  • For a period of 2 years, from your job application in Consulmar.

To which recipients will your data be communicated?

Only collaborating companies that help us complete our services. In accordance with the uses of personal information, we may communicate your personal information to recipients who help us promote or support our services or the services of our users (service providers). All of our service providers enter into a contract with Consulmar, which protects personal information and restricts the use of any personal information under this policy.
