WORKBOAT SERVICES is seeking a Deck Officer / Chief Officer to join its maritime operations in Tarifa (Cádiz, Spain).

We are looking for a professional with experience and/or a strong willingness to learn and develop in the fields of navigation and bridge operations, ready to assume Chief Officer responsibilities and holding the professional qualifications and endorsements required to serve as a Deck Officer.

Requirements:

Professional maritime qualification permitting service as a Deck Officer / Chief Officer (Coastal Skipper, Deep Sea Skipper, or Coastal Trading Skipper with Deck Officer endorsements).
Professional endorsements authorising service as a Deck Officer on List 5 vessels operating within 20 nautical miles of the coast.
All mandatory certificates required to serve as a Deck Officer, together with a valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate.

Desirable qualifications:

Previous experience as Chief Officer.
Previous experience serving as a Deck Officer.
Experience in maritime and port operations.
Leadership, organisational and teamwork skills.
Residence in Tarifa, the Campo de Gibraltar area, or willingness to relocate/commute.

WORKBOAT SERVICES is seeking a Chief Engineer to join its maritime operations in Tarifa (Cádiz, Spain) aboard a List 5 vessel.

We are looking for a professional with experience and/or a strong willingness to learn and develop within the engineering department, committed to ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the vessel’s machinery and technical systems, as well as the proper planning and supervision of maintenance activities.

Requirements:
Valid Seafarer Professional Card with Chief Engineer certification and authority for vessels up to 750 kW.
All mandatory certificates required to serve as Chief Engineer.
Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.

Desirable qualifications: Previous experience as a Chief Engineer or in a position of responsibility within the engine department.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of marine machinery.
Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently, and a team-oriented attitude.

We are seeking a versatile professional with experience in the maritime and port sector and a technical qualification in marine mechanics. The successful candidate will perform operational duties as an able seaman/mooring operator while also assisting with vessel maintenance activities.

Key Responsabilities: Carrying out mooring and unmooring operations, assisting with vessel manoeuvres and deck operations, inspecting and maintaining engines and auxiliary equipment, identifying faults and supporting troubleshooting and repair activities, assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Requirements: Marine Mechanic qualification, all maritime certificates and qualifications required for the position, experience in maritime, shipbuilding, or port environments, knowledge of the maintenance of marine engines and auxiliary systems, availability to work in Castellón, Spain.

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, versatile professional with strong problem-solving skills and a firm commitment to safety.

Vessel operating with a three-crew rotation system. Effective time on board: 10 days per month. Fixed, predictable work cycles, alternating days on board and days off. After every two work cycles, 8 consecutive days off are taken. Immediate start.
